Cart For A Cause Back Today With Susan Feniger’s STREET

It's Tuesday, which means everyone's favorite gourmet food truck is back (and every Tuesday through November!), today with Susan Feniger on board.  Name ring a bell? But the Top Chef is keeping the menu top secret, so you'll have to wait for the surprise until you get there

Cart For A Cause Back Today With A Josef Centeno Encore

The big, red food truck is back again today (and every Tuesday through November) with gourmet lunches to help ease you into the grind after a wonderful long weekend.  Josef Centeno of Lazy Ox Canteen gives an encore performance of last week's hit with his famous “Baco”, a flatbread-pork belly/beef carnitas taco hybrid, plus some side goodies to complement the headliner. L.A. Pretty Much Owns "Cupcake Wars"

They have their own shops endorsed by celebrities, food trucks , and now a TV show .  Cupcake culture has reached a new high with the Food Network's “Cupcake Wars,” a show in which four of the country's top cupcake bakers (three of which are locals) compete in three elimination challenges. Apparently cupcake baking is a carefully honed culinary skill and requires more than following the directions on the box. You have to add the sprinkles and the stick the Oreo in the middle, duh! Founder of Sprinkles Candace Nelson will judge the sweet delicacies served up by Bret Thompson of Milk on Beverly, Lindsay Morton of Dollhouse Bake Shoppe in Santa Monica and Erica Tucker of Sweet E's Bakeshop (delivery service around L.A.).  With the odds almost entirely in their favor, it looks like an L.A victory is pretty much in the bag and will only bolster our position at the top of the cupcake empire

The truck will be parked at the Activision and Tennis Channel building in Santa Monica , 2850 Ocean Park Blvd
