Go HERE for more photos by William Juliano and tag yourself and your friends! Saturday afternoon, Hollywood’s Siren Studios was transformed into a stoner’s paradise when it became a magical kingdom of wallet-friendly, delicious eats of all kinds as host to the Food Truck Derby presented by Antenna and Hyundai. Not that we’re suggesting anyone there was in a purple haze or needed to be to enjoy themselves, just that if they happened to be, this would have been the prime destination to get one’s munch on.

Win Coachella Tickets With A "Like"

No one I know expected Coachella tickets to sell out before April, let alone within a week of going on sale. And because my friends are all lazy, procrastinators, and tend to live by a general principle that things work themselves out without having to do anything, there wasn’t and still isn’t any sense of urgency to get them.

L.A. Pretty Much Owns "Cupcake Wars"

They have their own shops endorsed by celebrities, food trucks , and now a TV show .  Cupcake culture has reached a new high with the Food Network's “Cupcake Wars,” a show in which four of the country's top cupcake bakers (three of which are locals) compete in three elimination challenges. Apparently cupcake baking is a carefully honed culinary skill and requires more than following the directions on the box. You have to add the sprinkles and the stick the Oreo in the middle, duh! Founder of Sprinkles Candace Nelson will judge the sweet delicacies served up by Bret Thompson of Milk on Beverly, Lindsay Morton of Dollhouse Bake Shoppe in Santa Monica and Erica Tucker of Sweet E's Bakeshop (delivery service around L.A.).  With the odds almost entirely in their favor, it looks like an L.A victory is pretty much in the bag and will only bolster our position at the top of the cupcake empire
