As Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, Sweet E’s Bakeshop amped up the sugar for the sweet holiday with their Pre-Valentine’s Day event Friday night. With cupcakes reigning as the dessert of choice for the last decade, guests enjoyed Sweet E’s version of the treat as a miniature indulgence you can finish in a bite or two (without sacrificing the flavor, of course), and were treated to mini-makeovers to ensure they look their best for the romantic holiday.

If the Oscars are the “1%” of Awards Shows, only honoring those old money, fancy-shmancy films that were born to win awards, the Golden Globes are surely the awards show of the proletariat, letting popular but less stuffy fare like Bridesmaids and television hits like Modern Family get their moments in the sun.
