Sure, there were tons of Coachella events this weekend, but there was only one where relaxing by the pool and doing DIY projects were the main attractions: the Planet Blue X FOAM Magazine ‘Gimme Shelter’ Pool Party of course. Located at Alcazar Hotel in Palm Springs, the party was hosted by style icon and “90210″ star Gillian Zinser.
Weekend 2 of Coachella has much to live up to, and then some, if it wants to rev up and surprise its audiences the same way with its performances this past weekend which was packed with many positively jaw-dropping moments, from Tupac’s haunting hologram to the outpouring of emotion during Gotye’s performance of “Somebody That I Used To Know” with Kimbra. Among the stellar moments was the surprise appearance of Rihanna on stage with Calvin Harris to sing the living shit out of “We Found Love” and “Where Have You Been.” Her emergence on stage prompted what was no doubt one of the most energetic, hyped crowds of the weekend
While it’s true that we don’t always bump into famous people doing the same things we do for fun, that’s mostly because the things we normally do for fun, like hunting for discount steak at Vons, don’t really appeal to celebrities. When we go to Coachella , on the other hand, there’s nothing separating the rich and famous from the regular music fan (maybe a VIP wristband, but who cares). Let’s take a look at the famous faces spotted grooving out on Weekend One
Coachella is a marathon, not a sprint. Between the pool parties, barbeque parties, house parties, nighttime parties and the festival itself, there’s barely an hour in the day without some booze-fueled fun activity, which helps explain how, by the time the adidas x Jeremy Scott event rolled around on Saturday night, everyone was already teetering on the brink of complete drunken exhaustion
